Thai Hill
Thai is working toward a degree in Mechanical Engineering at San Francisco State University. As a part of the construction crew for iconic DIY skatepark, Lower Bobs, Thai has hands-on experience with designing and creating in addition to his technical training received in school. With help from CSEF, Thai will be a degree-holding engineer very soon!
Stephanie LaVita
Sarah Palmer Antoniou
Sarah Palmer Antoniou lives and works in Bend, OR with her husband and two sons. When not working as an assistant instructor of Biology at OSU’s Cascades Campus, she is helping organize women’s sessions and giving back to her community as Co-Director at Central Oregon Sk8 Share . She attended Oregon State University at their Cascades Campus in Bend and has completed her degree in Natural Resources: Fisheries & Wildlife Conservation. We’re excited to see what Sarah will accomplish next!
Stephanie has now graduated from Bunker Hill Community College in Boston, MA. She worked hard to give back to her community by founding New England Female Skateboarding - NEFS - a grassroots movement to empower females through skateboarding. After her 2019 summer internship at Nike Skateboarding in Portland, OR, she is returning to Massachusetts to attend Emerson College and continue her academic career!
Collin Hussman
Collin has graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Communications. His goal is to work in International Business/Sales with this training. Originally from Ketchikan, AK, Collin was partially responsible to building the skateboarding scene from the ground up in his small town. Piece by piece, they put together their first skatepark/spot and provided a place for local skateboarders. Moving from Alaska to Arizona was a huge move, but we know there will continue to be big things in Collin’s future!
Cody Koester
Cody left his role as Marketing Director at HUF in Los Angeles to move to Paris and pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Poetry through New York University’s Writers Workshop in Paris program. He recently completed his MFA with the help of CSEF, and now lives in New York City where he works with under-privileged students in the Lower East Side to explore social activism through art. Having cultivated a lifelong passion for skateboarding and writing, Cody hopes to inspire a similar excitement for the arts in his students.
